Relieve Your Vein Pain by Yoga for Varicose Veins

Shoulder Stand

It is a very successful and effective Yoga for Varicose Veins in bringing all venous blood to the heart.

How to do:
  • Lie on the yoga mat, plane on your back.
  • Take your knees to your chest and in one movement lift your legs off the ground, above your shoulders.
  • Put your elbows near your sides.
  • Use your hands as a support on your lower back.
  • Your chest is touching your chin now when the rest of your body is above you.
  • Make sure your spine, legs and chest are aligned in straight line.
  • Hold up your weight on your arms and shoulders and not on the head.
  • Inhale deeply and try to keep the pose for at least 5 minutes.

Legs up the Wall Pose

It is a supported variant of the shoulder stand. People with limited flexibility for a shoulder stand or those who are going through high blood pressure can make this pose instead.

How to do:
  • You can utilize a pillow or blanket for support during the posture.
  • Place your hip near to the wall and lie back on the ground.
  • Now, lift your legs up on the wall while you turn around.
  • Wriggle into a cozy pose until you create a 90-degree angle with your body against the wall.
  • Place your legs on the wall without any force and hip width apart.
  • Inhale naturally and stay in this pose for 5minutes.

Leg Lock Pose

Besides enhancing circulation in legs, Leg lock pose also extends the spine and massages the abdomen.

How to do:
  • In Yoga for Varicose Veins, lie on the mat on your back.
  • As you breathe in, raise your left knee towards your chest.
  • Interlock your fingers and using both hands, clasp the knee.
  • Place the other leg straight on the ground.
  • Just try to touch your temple to the left knee.
  • Inhale for a few counts and rest.
  • Do the pose again with your right leg.
  • Repeat at least 10 sets.

Cycling Pose

In this pose, you follow riding a bicycle.

How to do:
  • Lie on the land and put your hands either by your sides or at the back of your head as you perform in crunches.
  • Raise both your legs off the floor and twist them at the knees.
  • Lift your right knee near to your chest, keeping your left leg off.
  • Now reverse the process and take your right leg away and raise your left leg close to your chest.
  • Continue doing this as if you are paddling a cycle.

Boat Pose

In this boat pose or Navasana, you make the shape of a boat. It tones the abdominal muscles besides to help your legs.

How to do:
  • Just lie down on the yoga mat.
  • Put your legs together and hands near them.
  • Inhale deeply and when you exhale, raise your legs away from the floor.
  • At the same time, raise your chest and extend your arms towards the legs.
  • Make an effort that your fingers reach the legs.
  • Keep the pose without much effort, inhaling easily in the process.
  • Keep for a few breaths and rest to the sleeping pose.

Yoga for Varicose Veins can ease pressure on veins. One can relieve themselves from the pain by taking some precautions. This yoga treatment is the best and effective remedy to cure the vein pain.
